Mobile Access Guide
The Smart Quote Builder helps you create professional job quotes quickly and save them directly into your CRM.
Step 1: Open the Quote Builder
Click Open Smart Quote Builder from your launchpad or GHL menu.
Step 2: Enter the customer details
Fill in the basic customer information:
Customer name
Phone number
Email address
Job address
Job type
Job description
Urgency level
Preferred date
This helps the system create a clear quote and save it to the right customer record.
Step 3: Add labour costs
Enter the labour details:
Your hourly rate
Estimated labour hours
Number of electricians
Helper rate, if needed
Helper hours, if needed
The calculator will work out the labour cost automatically.
Step 4: Add material costs
Enter the material cost, markup, and wastage allowance.
The calculator will work out the material selling price so you’re not undercharging.
Step 5: Add travel and extras
Add any extra costs such as:
Callout fee
Travel cost
Parking
Waste disposal
Other costs
These will be included in the quote total.
Step 6: Check pricing settings
Review:
Risk buffer
Target profit margin
VAT setting
Final price rounding
The system will calculate the recommended quote price, final customer price, estimated gross profit, and profit margin.
Step 7: Generate the customer message
Click Generate Customer Quote Message.
The AI will create a clear, professional message you can send to the customer by SMS, WhatsApp, or email.
Step 8: Save the quote to GHL
Click Save Quote to GHL.
The system will save the quote into your CRM, update the contact, update the pipeline, save the quote as a note, and apply the correct tags.
Step 9: Check the pipeline and notes
After saving, go to the customer contact or pipeline.
You should see:
The customer contact updated
The opportunity in the pipeline
The quote saved as a note
Smart Quote Builder tags applied
Important
Always review the final quote before sending it to the customer.
The Smart Quote Builder helps speed up the quoting process, but you are still responsible for confirming the final price and scope of work.
